Job description:
The long-distance communications tower with a diameter of 4 meters was constructed from concrete segments with a wall thickness of 60 centimetres in the lower section, and 30 centimetres in the upper part of the tower.
In the upper part of the tower, from 60 to 100 metres it was possible to free the reinforcement from the concrete from internal platforms, using hammers and thermal separation techniques, supported by the use of hydraulic pumps.
In the lower section of the tower, due to the thickness of the outer walls and the complexity of the reinforcement, the separation was achieved with concrete saws.
The resulting concrete including the foundations was converted to rubble by an hydraulic excavator and reused.
