Job description:
Cleaning of the complete facility of all materials required for the running of the plant and waste materials created in the burning and gas cleaning operations. Pigeon excrement, asbestos and KMF cleaning as well as the removal of the contaminated boiler construction and chimney feed (heavy metals Dioxin, Furans).
Complete demolition of the former waste incinerator including the removal of underground debris.Refilling of the entire area with previously prepared mineral building rubble and covering of the area with delivered topsoil.
Facility description:
The facility comprised the following elements:
- Waste bunker
- Incinerator block with four incinerators
- Flue gas pipeline with electrical filters, spray absorbers and tube filters
- Chimney (100metres)
- Waste water treatment plant
Technical details:
- Total volume of demolition materials circa 171,000 cubic metres
- Building rubble reincorporated into the site circa 10,000 cubic metres, transported to a landfill site a further 10,000 cubic metres
- Scrap steel circa 10,000 tons
- Work completed in accordance with TRGS 519, TRGS 521, BGR 128 and BioStoffV
