Job description:
The stability of the chimneys was severely limited. Towers 1and 2 were constructed in 1938 and chimneys 3 and 4 were built in 1956. They had a total height of 140 metres, the square reinforced concrete base plate was 33 metres and the chimney height 107 metres. With the detonation of the third chimney our blaster Herr Thomas Brode celebrated his 100th chimney explosion.
